Realistic ducking, made using 3D needle felting methods, including the long fur technique to create realistic 'feathers'. Tutorial includes how to make realistic a beak and webbed feet. Made using a partial armature.
'AFRICAN ELEPHANT' (JAN/FEB 2025)
Realistic African Elephant, made using 3D needle felting methods (plus a tiny bit of wet felting). Made using a partial armature allowing legs, trunk and neck to be posed.
'EMPEROR PENGUIN' (NOV/DEC 2024)
Realistic Emperor Penguin, made using 3D needle felting methods. Made using a partial armature allowing the sculpture to be freestanding and the wings to be posed.
